6/9

Now if 6 turned out to be 9,
I don’t mind, I don’t mind,
Alright, if all the hippies cut off all their hair,
I don’t care, I don’t care.
Dig, ‘cos I got my own world to live through
And I ain’t gonna copy you.

The money dropped at the close last PM, and the futures followed, then the money came in briefly, and two sets of trend lines set up off twin shadows.

The bottom trend is of course in directional sympathy with the earlier trends lines, so that maintains a hold on the market, pushing downward. After a near touch, prices bounced and broke through the green line (resistance at this point) but settled back on the low side. Then the MFI became strongly over bought, (bullish) and at that point you want to see the longer term flows, OBV and A/D, rise up to meet them, in order to reset the system at a higher price, longer term money flows need to come in behind short term flows.

Didn’t happen and the MFI went oversold, and overbought to oversold, in about ten minutes is bearish. Downward trend in A/D should be watched for longer terms signals that the always money flow is reversing, or signs of capitulation.

In the interim that green line may hold prices like a snake on a pole extended horizontally as it were, but the power of the downward pointed series of trend lines, the dog chasing the car is very powerful. The break would be at 407 with support at 397. The VIX is mirroring this damping down of volatility. There is red in just about all asset classes (except yields) and that might imply a downdraft sometime today. 407 should limit the moves but it looks increasingly like support will break.

This current direction in this news driven market probably has everything to do with the prime time Congressional coverage of the Jan. 6 Committee. And the decision on ROE v WADE is on deck. The radical judges may be holding that decision to time their announcement in order to counter the attack on their president.

The attempted assassination of a Supreme Court Justice is probably a false flag to stir up enmity against radical liberals, when in practice it is often radicals who assassinate their fellow radicals, for not being radical enough. (How Kevin McCarthy comes out in all this we just have to wait and see) It’s hard to see a way out of this, but one could imagine thousands of red state exiles taking up residence in a new country (Russia? There are plenty of nice places in Eastern Europe) which in some ways might mirror the old Back to Africa movement. That presumes a peaceful resolution of the Red State problem.

At the moment president Biden continues to stir up controversy on both sides by refusing to confront Putin, who is Trump’s doppelganger. Nuclear blackmail, how much does Trump admire that? Is a cabin for two in Siberia, part of their mutually conjoined future?
